Legendary Wrestling Coach Bob Anderson has been a valuable member and coach in the sport of wrestling for many years, developing young athletes into National, World and Olympic class champions.

Bob Anderson,a Southern California native, began his wrestling career at South High School (Torrance, CA) where he won the Masters Championship his senior year.  Bob continued wrestling,staying in Torrance, at El Camino College where he won two California Junior College State Wrestling Championships and the most outstanding wrestler award before transfering to Adams State College, in Colorado.  There he would graduate with Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and finish his College Career as a two-time AAU All-American, NCAA All-American and NAIA All-American.  Bob continued his pursuit for higher education first at California State College at Long Beach where he would graduate with a Masters in Physical Education, then at Donsbach University earning a Masters Degree in Nutrition.

He joined Athlete’s In Action in 1968 and wrestled and coached with that team for fourteen years.  During that time he won many National and International honors in wrestling including winning the US Olympic Team Trials in 1968, earning two Pan American Games Championships in Sambo, and winning a Freestyle World Championship.

Bob has coached and competed internationally in Russia, Romania, Spain, Guam, Brazil, Bulgaria, Iran, England, Norway, Guatemala, Italy, Columbia, Sweden, Finland,
Uzbekistan, Mexico, and Canada.

After being a coach in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta Bob moved to Hawaii where he taught and coached at Kaahumanu Hou Christian Schools for seven years.

Most recently Bob has competed in two Senior World Championships in Czechoslovakia and Finland, winning Gold and Silver Medals.
